Wednesday, 30th of March, latin students of 4eme and 3eme went to discover remains of the ancient city of Ilidza, colonized by the Romans in the First century A.D. We think that the city was then called “Aquae Sulfurae” because of the hot waters that gushed there.
In Latin class, students are working on an illustrated album, reconstituting the Roman city at this time. They learnt more about it, thanks to the guide from the Sarajevo City Museum who accompanied them and brought to life for them what this ancient city could have been. A beautiful journey through time that delighted all participants!
